THE TRUE COFFEE WITHOUT LIMITS

Where everything began

Initially, this project, with the name Microbeneficio Café Sin Límites, was founded in 2006 as part of a family business. Together with my wife, Maribel Barrantes Zúñiga, and Jose Jaime Cárdenas Rojas, we ventured into the world of coffee without having previous experience in the field.

I clearly remember the moment we put the first trunk into the machine and the coffee was completely destroyed, due to our lack of experience in the drying process.


They told us that producing coffee with honey in those years was impossible. It was a true odyssey, since we did not know how to process or measure the humidity of the coffee. In the beginning, we even had to sell some belongings to install a power transformer, since we did not have electricity for our benefit. That was when the name Café Sin Límites arose, because for us, God never set limits and that was our vision: to have no limits in coffee.

Despite our initial ignorance, we have managed to stand out in the industry. We have received recognitions such as the Cup of Excellence, as well as several consecutive awards, including second place in the same competition. In addition, we have been finalists in the Cup of Excellence on 14 occasions. Our coffee is marketed worldwide, reaching countries such as Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Greece, Canada, the United States and many more.

Our coffee is distinguished by being produced completely manually and in the sun. The harvest is carefully done by hand and we work with different processes according to the preferences of our clients, including processes such as Yellow Honey, Black Honey, Red Honey and Natural.

Another aspect that characterizes us is our faith. Everything we do is entrusted to God, and we firmly believe that we have been blessed on this path. We maintain long-term business relationships with companies in Japan, such as Marullama Coffé and Woataro Coffé, among many others worldwide.
